After working in technology with IBM and Hewlett-Packard in Italy, he spent 14 years with LEK Consulting in London and Milan, where he became managing partner, co-founded the Milan office and advised private equity funds and corporates. Domenico co-invested with Societe Generale Private Equity in Moleskine (IPO on Milan stock exchange in 2013), led the management buy-out of Emaze SpA, a cybersecurity company sold to Tinexta in 2020, and was a first-round investor in the first Italian search fund Patria Capital.
